This Is Brazuca is a dual-language website focused on the Brazilian community that lives in Dublin. This website, presented in both English and Portuguese, is an ideal way for you to get to know the lives of Brazilians who have decided to come to live in Dublin.
Experiencing Dublin through the eyes of members of this community offers a new perspective on familiar places and events. Discovering their personal stories through both visuals and interview content provides a window into the experiences of people who have decided that life could be indeed more interesting than they thought it was.

This website was created by me as my thesis in college, my final year project. As it was a creative course we submitted a piece that we worked over our last year.
I chose this name to the project/website as it refers to Brazilians and 'brazuca' is a term that relates to Brazilians and their culture. Many times it is used in relation to Brazilian emigres living outside of Brazil or foreign-born of a Brazilian emigre.
I conducted interviews in Portuguese, transcribed and translated them into English, took photos, edited them, developed the website from sketches to code, selected colors and fonts for the website.
The following images are some of the colors I was analyzing, the fonts, and also a piece of the three interviews I made in Portuguese (left) and then the translations to English (right).
